Collectings reach beyond a personal, organic record of where I’ve been. They speak to aspects of our shared humanity and collective un-conscious, including our instinctual desire to connect with nature in order to experience our true essence. Collectings also illuminate our shared desperation to hold on to memories and moments in our lives, ultimately to stall the rapid passage of time.
